Shelter Island Paddle

I had planned to post a paddle to the Point for Saturday, but it looks like it’s going to be a little windy. The forecast calls for 10 to 11mph wind speed. A plan “B” paddle might be a good idea.

The plan is to meet at Shelter Island for a paddle to the downtown waterfront. There might still be a little “Top Gun, Maveric” celebration happening. I heard they put a Blue Angels F/A-18 on the deck of the Carl Vinson. You never know what you might see downtown.

If the weather report is wrong and it turns out much nicer than forecasted, we can go back to plan “A”.
