Interesting video. Thought provoking for honest self-examination and pre-thinking “what if” scenarios. What would I do? What COULD I do? Would my proposed course of action potentially further endanger myself? The group? The swimmer? Do I have the skills, strength, and stamina to execute the plan in these conditions? Food for thought as well as practice. Thanks for posting, Chris.

I am planning on kayaking the Baja from San Felipe to La Paz this spring. I am searching for someone that would be able to help me get my kayak and gear to San Felipe from Southern California. My start date is planned for around 8 March 2013 but there is some flexibility to my days. I only need help one way to San Felipe. I have talked about doing this trip for 20 years and am quitting my job to do it. If someone was looking for an excuse to go down to San Felipe for a few days to paddle I would love the company and logistical help. Do you have a bulletin board where this request could be posted so that your members could see it?

Where can I put in on the san diego river?
I have been from dog beach west to the wildlife preserve. I have read a few things about putting in under the 163 bridge, where?
How far east or west can I kayak it from the 163 area?
Im new to the area and dont know the river or where to put in at. I would love to get a little help from some of your members who may have kayaked that part of the river.
