Fantastic article and is why you will always find me practicing my solo recoveries whenever I venture out. When I do paddle with friends I always try to coax them into spending at least a little bit of time practicing solo and assisted rescues and can’t understand why many times my offers aren’t accepted. I enjoy a liesurely paddle as much as anyone but since I paddle solo so much I feel it is even more impotrant that I stay on top of my rescues. Again, great article!
